Choosing your Driving School in Sydney is not easy, looking for the cheapest price is not always the answer. We feel that Driving Courses are very much like buying insurance for your motor vehicle and this investment for driving lessons is by no means just for passing your RTA driving Test, our driving lessons are structured to include low risk driving techniques, which we imbed into our Driving Course and driving style for the rest of your life. When choosing your Driving School in Sydney look at lesson structure, ask yourself questions like, “what will you gain after each Driving lesson?”. We recommend that if your looking at purchasing bulk lessons, take one driving lesson and then decide if you enjoyed the lesson, Ask the Same question again, “Was the lesson structure effective for you?”, at this stage decide to purchase your bulk lessons. We conduct our lessons in 2 hour sessions, from experience the 1 hour lesson will disadvantage the student trying to learn, in all cases you will not have time to apply and practice what the instructor is teaching. Tips on passing your RTA Driver or Driving Test in SYDNEY

These days as we all know the RTA Driving Tests are a lot more strict and Passing is more difficult.
The reason is the RTA have made the I PROMISE (A Road Safety Initiative)

The Driving Test is harder in Manual as you need to correctly gear change up and down, no coasting that is clutch staying depressed while moving or gear changing, and apply the Road Rules. Driving is easy, anyone can drive, but the RTA driving test is more like walking on a tight rope, lose your balance and you fall.


These are some Tips
for the RTA Driving Test

• knowing the Test Route will not help you Pass.  If have been taught to memorise the test route, you will probably pass, but I can assure you that you will encounter situations or roads that you haven't driven on, then you are potentially at greater risk of creating an accident. I believe strongly learning to adapt the correct driving skills and have at minimum driven on bridges , tunnels, freeways, and complex roads, will give you less chances of an accident. Your life or life of others has no price tag. Make sure you are getting the right skills and road knowledge experience then I'm sure you will pass. 
• before you do the RTA Driver Test, make sure to check your car and making sure all tyres are in road worthy condition, registration is valid and lights work. (otherwise your not doing the test)
• make sure you do your shoulder checks before any manoeuvre (blind spot) even for left and right turns. Your chin needs to line up with your shoulder.
• Looking in mirrors when braking or stopping 
• make sure you apply the correct procedure for kerb side parking, kerb side stops and leaving, (note all observation checks need to completed before returning and leaving the kerb) at parked position you should indicate a minimum of 5sec before leaving the kerb.
• make sure for 3.0 turns your vision checks are 360 degrees at each point of the 3.0 turn. When reversing you must be looking in rear windows and mirrors. The reason is you should be looking for potential hazards. 
• when merging lanes or lane changing, make sure at point of decision for lane changing to indicate first, let people see your decision, check mirrors for a safe gap then shoulder (blind spot check) then look straight when merging and glance in mirrors for reassurance .
• going through traffic lights you must do your observation checks, that is looking left and right, even if passing through traffic light when its green.  Reason is pedestrians crossing or vehicles going through the red lights. 
• indicate left on exit of all roundabouts. Check blind spot before you exit on dual lane roundabouts if your on the inside lane
• Aim high see the whole scene, scan foot path to foot path. (Vision is very important) looking for HAZARDS 
• cover the brakes approaching traffic lights and be ready to stop if lights change. You must stop on yellow unless a sudden brake could cause a crash.
• drive smooth no hard braking or fast take offs.
• watch out for school zones and crossing.
• check crossing is clear left and right, checks made on approach of crossing and if there is someone crossing wait until their feet are off the crossing then proceed.
• Crash avoidance space, keep a min of 3sec when following vehicles, (cyclist is also considered a vehicle) , if its raining increase it.
• when stopped in traffic keep a minimum car length.
• keep a minimum of 1m from Hazards and parked cars when possible.
• do not assume, always make 100% decisions

There is much more to know other than these tips I have given you, keep in mind Turning Right at traffic lights is a Major topic on its own and I won't discuss on here as it will be far to difficult and if misunderstood you could end up in an accident.

Driving is a skill, learn the correct skills, Low risk driving is the key and road rules knowledge along with common-sense, driving rules don't change but the scenario changes, and there is a million different scenarios that can arise at any given time or on any road condition.
